2、tofridgepreservationonreconstructionofdefectivebuccalbonewallinfreshClassIIextractionsockets，andtocomparetheosteogenicefficiencybetweenusingasinglelayerofmembraneandadual-layermembrane(dPTFEplacedovercollagen)forridgepreservationinfreshClassIIextractionsockets.

3、Methods:Insixteenbeagledogsbilateralmandibularfirstpremolarswereatraumaticallyextracted.ThebuccalbonewallsofextractionsocketsaregrindedtobuildthemodelClassIIextractionsockets.Theextractionsocketsarerandomlydividedintofourgroups:(a)Control–Socketalone;(b)Anorgan

4、icbovinebone(Bio-Oss)inthealveolum,socketcoveredwithdPTFEmembraneandsuturedoverthealveolum;(c)Anorganicbovinebone(Bio-Oss)inthealveolum,socketcoveredwithcollagenmembraneandsuturedoverthealveolum;(d)Anorganicbovinebone(Bio-Oss)inthealveolumandcoveredwithduallaye

5、r(dPTFEmembraneplacedovercollagenmembrane),andsuturedoverthealveolum.Afterthefollow-upof12weeks,theanimalsweresacrificed.Theboneblocksinbilateralmandibularfirstpremolarareaareincisedforhistologicalexamination.Themeasuredindexesoftheboneblocksinvolvestheheightdi
