1、摘要始于1966年由美国学者R．B．卡普兰倡导的对比修辞着力探究不同文化在修辞模式上的差别。对比修辞最主要的理论假说是，不同的言语社团拥有属于各自不同的修辞写作模式，母语的修辞模式对二语写作产生负面的影响。本文运用英汉写作修辞对比研究的系统理论为指导，秉着真实描绘对比修辞在大学英语专业写作教学中的应用为目的，从英语专业大一组和大三组中各分别抽取了40篇作文进行对比性研究。调查结果发现，仅就文章的修辞模式上来说，两组学生并没有表现出太大的差别。此外，本文还组织了问卷调查和结构性访谈，其结果将对上述研究做进一步的补充说明。这项调查研究的结果说明了在对英语专业学生的

2、写作教学中，对比修辞理论假说不可避免的被忽视了，尽管它的初衷是为了促进二语写作水平。英语专业学生在二语写作中仍习惯性地受到本族语写作传统的影响，忽视了因文化因素可能带来的修辞写作模式的差别。这一意想不到的结果应当引起英语写作教师的重视，这样或许可以启发英语写作教学水平的进一步提升，即把对比修辞的系统理论同写作教学实践有效结合，最终使英语专业学生从中受益。关键词：对比修辞；修辞模式；英语写作；写作教学IIAbstractContrastiveRhetoricHypothesis(CRH)，originallydevelopedbyAmericanlinguist
