3、chnologieshaveshownthatthe gut microbiota contributestohostoverallhealthstatustoalargeextent.Assuch,the gut microbiota isoftenlikenedtoameasurableandfunctionalorganconsistingofprokaryoticcells,whichcreatestheunique gut ecosystemtogetherwiththehosteukaryoticcells.Inthisreview,wediscussi
4、ndetailtherelationshipbetween gut microbiota anditsmetaboliteslikecholine,bileacids,phenols,andshort-chainfattyacidsinthehosthealthandetiopathogenesisofvariouspathologicalstatessuchasmultiplesclerosis, autism,obesity,diabetes,andchronickidneydisease.Byintegratingmetagenomicandmetabolom
