2、25percentofearth’s6billionpeoplecanuseEnglish;nottheEnglishinEngland,butEnglish.ItisthedisputabletruththatEnglishhasbeenplayinganessentialroleintheworldwideconnectionandisusedmostfrequentlyandofficially.ManynotablytheEnglish-speakersthinkthatthefuturestatusofEnglisha
3、sgloballanguageisassured;however,Iholdtheopinionthatit’simpossibletoexistsingleonekindoflanguageasthegloballanguageunderthetendencyofnationaldiversity.ThebelieverofEnglishgoingtobegloballanguageclaimthatEnglishisnowwellspreadwithactivenudge–theInternet.Hundredyearsag
4、o,asBritishontheirwaytobuildtheempireonwhichthesunneverset,theyalsograbAmericainitsterritoryandmadeittheEnglish-speakingcountry.ThebirthofcomputeranditsAmericansystemcertainlygaveEnglishapushtospreadbyusingEnglishoninternet.However,manyothercountrieshavealsomadegreat
5、achievementinthisfield,likeIndia,JapanandChina.Somenon-Englishsitessprungupyearsago,whichresultedintheproportionofEnglishresourceoninternetdeclines.Besides,thelanguageENGLISHusedoncomputerissomeextentsthestatisticshelpingthesystemworks.Thusanykindofwell-organizedlang
6、uagecanbeinputintothedatebaseandpalythesameroleasEnglishdoes.ManyfactsshowthatEnglishisusedwidelyineconomic,politicalandeducationalfields.Asbusinessspreadsfrontiers,companywantsputtheirexecutiveabroadandmakethemostpromotionofit.Sothoseexecutiveswhowanttobeinthatframe
7、orgoforanotheremployermustlearntouseEnglish.Englishisnotonlytheessentialofficiallanguageinsomeinternationalconferencesbutthemostvalidlanguageinacademicjournals.ItalsodominatessecondlanguagelearningandthenumberofEnglish-learnersincreasesasnewpupilsgointoschool.Neverth
