5、V)andfuelcellelectricvehicle(FCEV).Electricvehicleisamulti-disciplinarysubjectwhichcoversbroadandcomplexaspects.However,ithascoretechnologies,namelychassisandbodytechnology,propulsiontechnologyandenergysourcetechnology.AlthoughthispaperiswrittenbasedonBEV,italsoaddressesthemajorissuesof
6、emergingHEVandFCEV.ThepaperbeginswithreviewingthestatusofBEVandHEV,thenfocusingontheengineeringphilosophyofEVdevelopmentandtheirkeytechnologies.Finallythecommercializationaspectsarediscussed.TheconclusionsummarizesthestateoftheartandthechallengesofBEV,HEVandFCEV.TodayBEV,HEVandFCEVarein
