4、,journalisticstyles,correspondencestylesandadvertisingstyles,etc.andcorrespondinglytheyhavedifferentlanguagefeatures(ZhangDelu,1998:125).TheformalityoflexiconisanimportantfeatureofBusiriessEnglishotherthanadvertisingEnglish.Firstly,therearemoreformalandspokenwords,whichappearsclumsy.Second
5、ly,thereareusuallyarchaicwordsinlegaltextstoincreaseitssolemnityandformality.Thirdly,duetolargecoverageofBusinessEnglish,suchasindustry,tradeandlaws,thetechnicaltermsarealsorichandcomplicated.Someofthetermshavefixedmeaningsandsomevarywiththeoccasions.Fourthly,therearemanyborrowedwordsfromo
