4、urnalisticstyles,correspondencestylesandadvertisingstyles,etc.andcorrespondinglytheyhavedifferentlanguagefeatures(ZhangDelu,1998:125).TheformalityoflexiconisanimportantfeatureofBusiriessEnglishotherthanadvertisingEnglish.Firstly,therearemoreformalandspokenwords,whichappearsclumsy.Secondly,t

5、hereareusuallyarchaicwordsinlegaltextstoincreaseitssolemnityandformality.Thirdly,duetolargecoverageofBusinessEnglish,suchasindustry,tradeandlaws,thetechnicaltermsarealsorichandcomplicated.Someofthetermshavefixedmeaningsandsomevarywiththeoccasions.Fourthly,therearemanyborrowedwordsfromotherl
