4、eticalstyles,journalisticstyles,correspondencestylesandadvertisingstyles,etc.andcorrespondinglytheyhavedifferentlanguagefeatures(ZhangDelu,1998:125).TheformalityoflexiconisanimportantfeatureofBusiriessEnglishotherthanadvertisingEnglish.Firstly,therearemoreformalandspokenwords,whichappe
5、arsclumsy.Secondly,thereareusuallyarchaicwordsinlegaltextstoincreaseitssolemnityandformality.Thirdly,duetolargecoverageofBusinessEnglish,suchasindustry,tradeandlaws,thetechnicaltermsarealsorichandcomplicated.Someofthetermshavefixedmeaningsandsomevarywiththeoccasions.Fourthly,therearema
