3、endedtoassistinthisprocess:(a)Observationshouldhaveafocus;(b)observersshouldusespecificprocedures;and(c)theobservershouldremainanobserver.Anadditionalprovingthevalueofclassroomobservationistoestablishanon-evaluativeroleforobserversthroughgivingthemtaskstopleteation
4、ratherthanevaluatingperformance,andhavingtheco-operatingteacherdetermineayincludecollectingdataonsuchthingsasorganizationofthelesson,teacher'stimemanagement,hoe-on-task,teachersuseofquestions,teachers'explanations,teacher-studentinteraction,andthedynamicsofgroupact
5、ivities.Oncetheobservationshavebeenmade,usingchecklists,focuseddescription,orotherprocedures,theobserverprovidesacopyofanyinformationobtainedfortheteacher.PeerobservationTheapproachtoobservationdescribedabovecanalsobeusedasthebasisforpeerobservation.Peerobservation
