3、hebasisofaformofknowledgethatisusefulfordesigners.Thetheoreticalframeworkproposedinthearticleexaminesthenatureofuserexperienceandhowitcanbeutilizedinthedesignprocess.Thestudyoflivedexperiencesiscontextualizedwithinaesthetic,subjective,andfunctionalaspectso

5、ductionInoureverydaylives,weliveinspacesthatareactive,changing,anddynamic.Whendesignerscreateinteriorspatialdesignsforvarioustypesofusesandexperiences,theyconsiderboththeaestheticqualitiesofaspaceandhowpeopleexperienceinteractionsandsensationswithinthespac
6、es.However,people’sexperiencesaresubjective.Theseareexperiencespeoplehaveinthemomentofliving,bothconsciouslyandunconsciously,ininteractionwiththespaceandothersinthespace.Thisinvolvesaformofknowingthatis“implicit,naturalistic,ecologicalcognitionofeverydayex
7、istence”asopposedto“deliberate,formal,thinkingandknowledge”(Storkerson,2010,Section1,para.2).Thisarticleexplorestheseimplicitformsofknowingandconsiderswhatdesignpossibilitiesmayemergefromthem.Documentingtheseformsofknowingrequiresanunderstandingofhowdesign
