1、CulturalFactorsinEnglishTranslationAbstract:Languageisthebridgeorthetieofcommunication,itletpeopleorcountriesunderstandandcommunicatewitheachother.Wordsarethemostactivefactorsinalanguage.Theycanreflectsocialchanges,andhaveverystrongnationalcolorsandpersonalityofdifferentcultures.
2、Therefore,ontheonehand,translatorshouldreflecttheoriginalculturalbackgroundandculturalcolorsasfaithfullyaspossible;ontheotherhand,translatorshouldalsopayfullattentiontothereader’sacceptability.However,Englishtranslationisnotveryeasyifyouwanttoachieve“faithfulness,expressivenessan
3、delegance”.BecauseofmanyfactorsinfluenceEnglishtranslation,andculturalfactorisoneofthem.ThispaperwilldiscusstheinfluenceofculturalfactorstoEnglishtranslation.Sevenpartsofculturalfactorswillbegiventodiscussit,suchas,geographicalenvironment,socialandhistoricaldifferences,religiousd
