3、ineseandEnglishoriginatefromtwoverydifferentculturalregister,andinfluencedbydifferentregion,environment,custom,culture,religion,economyandsocialsystem,sotheremustbesomenon-equivalenceinsomeaspects,suchasgrammar,semanticcolorandsemanticextent.Inthesetwola
4、nguages,apartfromfewspecialusedtermandtechnicalvocabulary,theresthardlyhavethesamecorrespondingone.So,thenon-equivalencebetweenChineseandEnglishmainlyreflectedonthevocabularynon-equivalence.Thedissertationwillstartwithanalyzingthevocabularynon-equivalenc

7、cabularycanhardlybefound.Thereasonwhythevocabularynon-equivalenceexistsisthatthereisnocorrespondingwordwhenonelanguagetranslatedintoanother.Onelanguagemayusejustasinglewordtoexpressorcallasubject,whiletheotherlanguagemayusealotofwordstoexplainanddescribe
