4、us.Forthisreason,trainingtranslatorsturnsintoanimportantmission,andtranslationteachersare,indeed,indirectlymakingcontributionstoworldpeace.Whateverdifficultiesintranslationteachingtheyencounter,theyaresupposedtotryeverypossiblemeanstofindsolutionstoallpotentialproblemssoastoproducequalifiedandexcel
5、lenttranslators.TranslationDifficulties1.Word/sentenceorderItseemsthatallnaturalhumanlanguagesfollowacertainsequencinginputtingwordstogethertoexpressacompleteandcoherentthought,butword/sentenceorder,mayvaryfromlanguagetolanguageinpresentingthesameidea.Acertainsequenceofwordsisoftensmooth,naturaland
6、idiomaticinonelanguagebutillegitimate,unidiomaticandevenvagueormeaninglessinanother.Agoodtranslationshouldtakeintoconsiderationlanguageusageandconvention.Astoattributivesandadverbials,Chinesespeakerstendtoputthembeforetheirmodifiedobjectsiftheyareone-wordorshortmodifiers.However,inEnglishtheymaybep
