4、disclosureofdementiabyauthenticatingtheirneedforinformationandsupport,andlegitimisingtheiraccesstomunityandhealthservicesandmembershipofdementiaspecificorganisations[7].Thereisscantinformationrelatingtothefeelingsandthoughtsofdementiacaregiversaboutthetimingofdiagnosis.Thereisalsoaneedtomeasure

5、theimpactofthetimingofdementiadiagnosis(i.e.diagnosisatearlytolatestages)oncaregiverdecision-makingbehaviourregardingfutureplanningandaccessinginformationandsupport,asthereisasuggestionthatearlieraccesstoinformation,practicalandpsychosocialsupportmayimprovequalityoflife[11].In2012,2.7millionAus

6、traliansidentifiedthemselvesascarers,and1.9millionoftheseco-residedinthesamehouseholdsentiaatedtobearound298,000people(atedthat90%ofpeopleentiahaveinvolvementofcarers[13].Tentiacaregiversareconsideredtobeco-residinginthesamehouseholdasthepersonentia[13].Theroleofcaregivingischallengingasitinvol
