2、dlaboratoryexperiments.Theeffectofcoalproperty,operationcondition,gas-solidmixing,chardeactivation,residencetime,andcycloneperformanceareanalyzedseriatimbasedonalargeamountofexperimentalresults.Acoalindexisproposedtodescribethecoalrank,havingastrongeffectonthecharburnout.Badgas-solidmixing

3、inthefurnaceisanotherimportantreasonofthehighercarboncontentintheflyash.Somecharsintheflyasharedeactivatedduringcombustionoflargecoalparticlesandhaveverylowcarbonreactivity.Severalsuggestionsaremadeaboutdesign,operation,andmodificationtoreducethecarboncontentintheflyash.IntroductionWiththe

4、advantagesoffuelflexibilityandlowpollutantemission,circulatingfluidizedbed(CFB)combustiontechnologyhasbeendevelopedrapidlyinpowergeneration.ThecapacityofCFBpowerplantshasbeengrowingsteadilyeversincethecommercializationofthetechnologyinthelate1970s.Currently,themaximumcapacityofasingleCFBut

5、ilityboilerisontheorderof300MWeandmorelargecapacityunitsof600and800MWesupercriticalpressureCFBboilersaredeveloping.ThedevelopmentofCFBboilersinChinastartedinthe1980s,andthemaximumcapacityforasingleunithasbeenincreasingyearafteryear,asshowninFigure1.Thereareover1000CFBboilersinoperationupto
