3、ybloodtothetworespectivelungs.4Thepulmonaryarteryisalsothin,withawallthicknessabouttwicethatofthevenaecavaeandonethirdthatoftheaorta.Thepulmonaryarterialbranchesareveryshort,andallthepulmonaryateries,eventhesmallerarteriesandarterioles,havelargerdiameters

6、tothelungsthroughsmallbronchialarteriesthatoriginatefromthesystemiccirculation,amountingtoaboutlto2percentofthetotalcardiacoutput.Thisbronchialarterialbloodisoxygenatedblood,incontrasttothepartiallydeoxygenatedbloodinthepulmonaryarteries.Itsuppliesthesupp
