4、ate.UpperPeninsulaandthenorthernLowerPeninsulalackanyknownadvocacygroupsMeetmonthlyorquarterlyandareopentonewparticipantsStatewideLeadConferenceApril22,2008,firststatewideLeadSafeandHealthyHomesConference.SponsoredbyMDCHand13additionalorganizations.Local,stateandnation

5、alhealthandhousingexperts.200wereinattendanceandMDCHplanstohostasecondconferenceinthenexttwoyears.MediaCampaignAsaresultofreceivingstateHealthyMichiganFundingforLeadPoisoningPrevention,theMDCHfundedanannualstatewidemediacampaign.Thefirsttwocampaignsfocusedattentiononth

6、eneedtohavechildren’sbloodtestedforlead.Thisyear’scampaigncurrentlyfocusesontheimportanceof“Do-it-Yourselfers”workingsafelyaroundleadpaintedsurfaces.Thecampaignconsistsofradioannouncementsandfliers.Thetwopreviouscampaignsalsoincludedbusplacards.LeadSafeHousingRegistryF
