4、atternrecognition.Themainmethodsofpedestriandetectionaresensorbased,featureextraction,humanbasedmodel,statisticalclassification,templatematching,etc..SensorbasedapproachAtpresent,themainsensorsusedinpedestriandetectionaremonocularvision,stereovision,infraredimaging
5、,microwaveradarandlaserrangefinder.Thesesensorscarryoutnon-contactdetectionofthesurroundingenvironmentofvehiclestoobtaininformationaboutpedestrians,vehicles,obstaclesandsoon.Visionisanimportantmeansofhumanobservationandtounderstandtheworld,theneedsofthedriverwhendr
6、ivingthe90%informationfromthevisualsystem,trafficsignals,trafficpatterns,suchasroadsignscanberegardedastheenvironmentandthedriver'svisualcommunicationlanguage.Monocularvisionhastheadvantagesofrichinformationcontent,largeinformationarea,multilanedetection,simultaneo
