6、eitsvocativefunction.　　KeyWords：SkopostheorieFilmTitleFunctionIntratextualCoherence　　摘要：本文旨在探讨英文电影片名汉译的理论和方法。电影片名虽然一般较短，但是对电影的票房和传播有着很大的影响。尽管国内许多学者提出了关于电影片名翻译的很多方法，但是整体来讲，似乎很少有人从整体上去探寻一种指导性的方法。事实上，电影片名是一项有目的的活动。因此，在众多的翻译理论中，汉斯?威密尔提出的目的论不失为一种适合指导片名翻译的方法。相对于以前的翻译理论来说，该理论给了译者更大的创造空间去采用自己满意的翻译方法。“目的决

7、定方法”是它最突出的特点。如今，电影片名翻译的最主要的目的就是为了吸引目标观众（即中国观众）观看电影，从而提高票房。本文主要把电影片名的翻译分为全部，部分直译和意译几个方面，试图在目的论的指导下，探讨如何针对不同的片名采取不同的具体的翻译方法。　　本文首先介绍了写作背景，研究方法以及论文的结构。第二章介绍了目的论的产生和发展和基本概念等，其中详细介绍了其三大准则及其关系。接着第三章介绍了英语片名的特点。第四章为文章的主体，是理论结合
