1、对英语植物术语内涵的探讨与翻译摘要：英语植物词语是英语语言很重要的一部分。很多英语植物词语具有浓厚的文化涵义，这些文化涵义具有不同的文化渊源。给翻译带来很大的挑战性。本文讨论了英语植物词语的文化涵义的六种文化渊源，即：地理环境，神话，宗教，文学作品，社会习俗及相似性。在此基础上，通过比较英语中植物词语的喻义在汉语中的表达形式，从文化翻译目的论的角度探讨了五种翻译方法：直译，直译加注，直译喻义相结合，省略植物意象的意译和改换植物意象的套译。关键词：文化涵义，英语植物术语，翻译CONTENTSIntroductio
