3、terthanD/P,D/PatsightisbetterthanD/Paftersight,whereasD/PisbetterthanD/A.Remittanceisonlyusedinsmalldeals.LettersregardingLetterofCreditareusuallywrittenforthefollowingpurposes:(1)IfthebuyerfailstoestablishL/C,oritdoesnotreachthesellerintime,thesellerhastowritealettert
4、ourgethebuyertoestablishtheL/C.(2)Ifthesellerfindsthattherearesomediscrepanciesorsomespecialclauses,towhichthesellerdoesnotagreeintheL/C,thesellershouldaskthebuyertomakeamendment.(3)Ifthesellerfailstogetthegoodsreadyforshipmentintime,thesellerwillhavetoaskforextensiono

7、theamountofthecredit,thebeneficiary,thecurrency,thedocumentsrequiredandotherspecialinstructions.(4)Onarrivalofit,thecorrespondentbankadvisesthesellerofthereceiptofcredit.(5)SometimesasellerrequiresaconfirmedL/C.Inthiscase,thecorrespondbankusuallyaddsitsconfirmation,bec
