3、erandinkstonesareusedinstudy,thereforepeoplepraisethefourobjectsasthefourtreasuresofChinesestudy.ExceptforthefourtreasuresofChinesestudy,studytoolsalsoincludeinkcartridges,inkandpenholders,penrackbeds,armrests,writingbrushwashers,booktowns,waterscoops,inkstones,sealboxe

6、gjiakou,HebeiProvince,thereareseveralimagesaboutthewritingbrushes,inksticks,paperandinkstones.ThesefactspresentthatthefourtreasureshavegraduallyformedabroadsocialpracticalbasisinsuchalonghistoryandfinallybecameaspecialwordintheSongDynasty.(Zhangetal,2008)Inordertoknowan
7、dresumetherelationsbetweenancientwritingandpaintingtoolswiththestudyandthescholars’behavior,peopleshouldfullyunderstandthemainlineofthedevelopmentofcalligraphytools.Thispaperwillmakeanin-depthhistoricalresearchonthefourtreasuresofChinesestudy,analyzethehistoricaldevelop
