2、摘要随着我国社会经济的发展，国际间的交流与合作日益密切。不同文化背景的人从事交际的过程就是跨文化交际。而语言便是进行跨文化交际最基本、也是最重要的媒介。因此，作为一名外语学习者，在语言学习的同时，也必须充分了解这种语言所承载的文化。语言与文化关系密切，这已是不可置疑的事实。语言是文化的载体，学习一门外语的过程，也是了解对象国文化背景知识的过程。掌握对象国文化背景知识的程度直接影响到一个人的语言知识的使用能力，是能否得体地运用语言的前提。本文从语言与文化的关系入手，通过简要分析中西方日常交际用语的差异，从中揭示出中西方文化的差异。阐
