3、ishwoulddescribethemselvesasworking-class,andhalfwouldbemiddle-class.Theyaredividedbyemployment(manualworkersvs.officeworkers),culturaldifferences(newspapers,entertainment),thewaytheyspeak(accentsarestrongerintheworking-class),andeducationSocialClassMostBritonsgotothesamekindofschoo

4、l–freepubliceducation,butabout7%attendprivateschools.Theseschoolsofferagoodeducation,aswellasconnections.AbouthalfofOxfordandCambridgeUniversitystudentscomefromprivateschools.About90%ofthegovernmentseniorministersweregraduatesfrom“Oxbridge”.AdifferenceinBritishclasssystemsascompared

6、s”isstillthebestwaytoguaranteeasuccessfulcareerandfuture.HistoryofEducationHistorically,educationwasvoluntaryandmanyoftheschoolsthatweresetup,weresetupbychurches.Thechurchstillhasaninfluenceonschooling.Dailyprayersandsinginghymns(songstoGod)arestillaregularpartofschoollifeinmanyscho
