3、students,writinghaslongbeenconsideredtobethemostdifficultpartamongthefourskillsoflistening,speaking,readingandwriting.Summarywriting,whichisakindofcomparativelyeffectivemethod,canbehelpfultoimprovestudents’summarizationandcomprehensionability.Scholarsare
4、awareoftheimportanceofwritingininterpersonalinteractioninrecentyears,whichhasresultedingreatprogressinwritingresearch.Basedongenretheory,genre-basedapproachregardstextnotjustasalinguisticconstruction,butasocialconstruction.However,thetraditionalteachingm
5、odelsimplyneglectstheindispensablecultivationofstudents’Englishwritingabilityintheprocessofpracticalteaching.Confrontingawritingtask,studentsalwaysdonotknowwheretostart.Basedongenretheory,thisthesisaimsatinvestigatingtheeffectsofgenre-basedapproachonseni

7、,anEnglishsummarywritingtestwasadoptedasthepre-test.Duringtheexperiment,thesubjectsacceptedtwo-hourtrainingcoursesofsummarywritingperweek,whichbeginswithaintroductionofgenrethatmayenhancedstudents’genreawareness,andthenledstudentstofocusongeneticfeatures
