2、,2012摘要奈达的功能对等理论注重读者反映，以最贴近、最自然的对等语再现原文信息，使译文读者能够达到与原文读者一样的理解和欣赏原文的程度。科普文是讲述科学技术知识，传播科学技术信息，普及科学技术教育的说明性文章，通常具备客观性、科学性、艺术性的特点。科普文英译汉过程中词汇意义的选定直接影响译文的质量。因此，如何选定正确的词义使译文达到贴近自然的对等是科普文翻译研究的一个重要课题。本文以科普文翻译实践为素材，结合奈达的功能对等理论对科普文英译汉词义的选定展开讨论。文章首先概述奈达功能对等理论的起源、发展及主要内容，强调贴近与自然的翻译原则，然后分析科普文与科技文两种不同文体，梳
