4、ut.Maybeattheendoftheacademictermtheygivestudentsanoraltestandmarkthembyascore.Orstudentscantakethenationallevelspokentests(TEM4orCET4andCET6)andthenreceivecertificateswhichclassifythembyfourlevelsoforalEnglishperformanceamongwhichthreearepassinggrades:Pass,Good,Exception
5、alwhilethelastisFail.However,asEFLteachers,weknowthescorewegivetothestudentonlygivesaverygeneralorsuperficialpictureofthestudent’scommunicativecompetence.Ifwewanttogainamorecomprehensiveunderstandingofstudents’communicativeability,weneedtodomorethanjustmanageatest.Analter
