4、therscannotinthesamelearningenvironment?Withthefastdevelopmentofpsycholinguistics,thefocusofresearchshiftedfromhowtoteachtohowtolearn,andpeoplebegantopayattentiontolisteningcomprehensionstrategies(LCS).Thustheresearchoflisteningcomprehensionstrategiesisofgreatimportancetolisteningcomprehens

5、ionteaching.Onepurposeofthisstudyistoinvestigatetherelationshipbetweenlearners’LCSuseandtheirlisteningcomprehensionproficiency.PriorResearchershavefoundthatthechoiceoflearningstrategyuseisinfluencedbymanyinternalandexternalfactors.IbelievemotivationisthekeyfactorinfluencingEnglishlearning.A

6、lthoughtherehavebeenresearcherspointingoutthatmotivationisthekeyfactorinfluencingthechoiceoflearningstrategies,studyoftherelationshipbetweenLCSandattributiontheory,onesubcategoryofmotivationtheory,isnotsomuch.AccordingtoWeiner,ability,effort,taskdifficultyandluckarefourimportantfactorsaffec
