3、therdefinedasthespecificbehaviors,steps,andactionstakentoenhanceone’sownlearning,throughthestorage,retention,anduseofnewinformationaboutthetargetlanguage.Theyaretheconsciousthoughtsandbehaviorsusedbylearnerswiththeexplicitgoalofimprovingtheirknowledgeandunderstandingofata
4、rgetlanguage.Theyfacilitatelanguagelearningtasks,representgoal-directedbehaviors,andpersonalizethelanguagelearningprocess.Generallyspeaking,therearefourtypesofstrategies(Cohen,2006,p.15):cognitivestrategies,meta-cognitivestrategies,socialstrategies,affectivestrategies.Inf
