3、thedataextractedfromSCOPUS,leadingScience,TechnologyandMedicine(STM)citationdatabaseofworldleadingpublisher,Elsevier.Findings:ThestudyrevealsthatOApublishingisgainingpopularityinthewholeuniversitywithsubstantialamountofresearchpublicationalreadyavailablethroughOAjournals.Keywords:OpenAcce

5、onaljournalsandthelowvisibilityofpapersaremainproblemsfacedbyresearchers.OAisviewedasasolutiontotheseproblems.OAsignifiesthedemocratizationofknowledgeandsupportssociallyresponsiblewaytodistributeknowledge.OAmakesthesameknowledgeandinformationavailabletoscholarsinwealthy,firstworldnations,

6、indevelopingex-communist,secondworldnations,andinunder-developedthirdworldnations(Ylotis,2005).So,openaccesshasprovedablessingtothescholarsinoneortheotherway.Whether,thescholarisanauthorortheuserofscholarlycontent,ithasdemocratizedtheminarealsense.OAtoscholarlyarticlescanbeachievedthrough
