5、locationwherepileswillbedriven.Provideadditionalinformationhereontheconsiderationstakeninchoosingarepresentativenumberofpilessuchas,bathymetry,totalnumberofpilestobedriven,substratetype,depthofwater,anddistancefromshore.Aminimumof5pilesshouldbemonitored.Projectsdrivingalargenumberofpiles,driving

6、multiplepilesdiametersindifferingsubstrates,drivingdifferenttypesofpiles,ordrivingpilesinwidelydifferingdepths,maywarrantadditionalmonitoringtoproducearepresentativesample.Hydroacousticmonitoringoftypeofpiledrivingwillinclude:·Measuringunderwaterbackgroundlevels,·MonitoringXpiles,·Testingsoundat
