4、signedforcontrollingtemporaryaccesstoelevatedareasandevaluatingthestandardofscaffolderectedbeforefinallyapprovingthescaffoldforuse.Thesystemalsoprovidesameansoftrackinglocationsofscaffolding,whichenablesongoingmonitoringandauditingofthescaffoldscondi

5、tion.Scafftagassignsclearresponsibilitiestothesupervisorandemployees,whichensuresqualityequipment,workmanshipandfinalproductqualityandsafescaffolding.2.PROCEDUREAllcontractorsshallfollowthisprocedureasaminimumstandardatalltimesthroughouttheproject.2.

6、1CertificationAllscaffoldingshallbeerectedanddismantledbyapersonwhoholdsanappropriaterecognisedcertificateofcompetencyforscaffolding.Nootherpersonshallerect,alterordismantlescaffolding.Ifanunauthorisedpersonerects,altersordismantlesanyscaffolddiscipl

7、inaryactionwillbeimplementeduptoandincludingdismissalfromtheproject.2.2ConstructionDuringtheconstructionofscaffoldingfallarrestequipmentmustbeuseduntilthescaffoldingprovidesasafeworkingplatform.Oncethescaffoldisproperlyconstructedtheuseofpersonalfall

8、arrestequipmentisnotgenerallyrequired.Forfurtherclarificationofthisrequirementrefertotheworkingatheightsprocedure.Allscaffoldsshallbeconstructedand/orsupervisedbyacompetentperson.2.3InspectionsInspectionsarerequired:·beforethescaffoldingisusedforthef
