2、EANDSCOPEThepurposeofthisprocedureistoclearlydefinethehousekeepingrequirementsfortheproject2.0DEFINITIONSHousekeepingisdefinedasbeing:·ThosearrangementsnecessarytoensureatalltimeswhereworkassociatedwiththerealisationoftheProjectisbeingundertaken,suchareasaremaintainedinasafe,clean,tidyandappealin
3、gmannertosupportthosewhoareexpectedtoworkinthem.·Projectpersonnelshallbeheldaccountableformaintainingveryhighhousekeepingstandardsinallareasofactivityundertheirdirectorindirectcontrol.3.0PROCEDURE3.1GENERALAllwork,storage,establishment,laydownareasandanyotherspecifiedareasunderthedirectorindirect
4、controlofAfricanMineralsLimitedshallbemaintainedinasafe,clean,tidyandacceptablestatetothesatisfactionofthealliancepartners.Packingmaterials,scrapandallrubbishshallbeclearedfromthesiteassoon,asispracticableanddisposedofinamannerthatwillnotcontravenelocalorstatutoryenvironmentalregulationsorpolicie
5、s.Ineachareathelevelofhousekeepingperformanceshallbedocumented,withattentiontothefollowing:·Areasshallonlybeusedforpurposesofwhichtheyareintended.Signsorbarrierswilldesignateareasforstorage,walkwaysandworkareas.·Materialsstoredinopenareasshallbestoredinatidymannerinappropriatecontainersaswellasin
6、accordancewithanyrelevantlegislation.·Vehiclesshallbeparkedonlyinauthorizedparkingplaces..·Aisles,walkways,corridors,staircases,doorways,enhancehalls,foyersandexistsshallbeunobstructed,freefromslippinghazardsandtheaccumulationofcombustiblematerials.Accumulationsofdirtanddustshallberemovedfromfloo
