3、owing:OverviewoftheJapaneseSocietyofPlantPhysiologists’YoungOverseasJointResearchFellowshipApplication(JSPPFellowship)SummaryInordertofosteraninternationalperspectiveinyoungresearchers,theJapaneseSocietyofPlantPhysiologistsrecognizessuperlativeyoungresearchersand
4、supportstheirshort-termjointprojectsinoverseasresearchfacilities,throughtheNam-HaiChuaFund.Description1.Doctoralcandidates,doctorateresearchers,youngfacultyandresearchers,etc.,whoaremembersoftheJapaneseSocietyofPlantPhysiologistsshallreceivesupportfromtheNam-HaiC
5、huaFundfortravelandlivingexpensesassociatedwithajointresearchprojecttobeundertakenabroadwithinathreemonthperiod.2.Thegrantlimitshallbe¥1millionperapplicant,withasmanyastwoapplicantsselectedeachyear.Selection1.Acallshallbemadeforjointresearchproposals,toincludeade
6、tailedimplementationthereof,ahistoryofresearchundertakentodate,resultsexpectedfromthejointresearch,ahistoryofcontactswiththeoverseasfacility,etc.2.TheJSPPAwardCommitteeshallselectthemostdeservingjointresearchtopicsfromamongthosesubmitted.3.UponselectionbytheJSPPA
7、wardCommitteeandtheapprovaloftheExecutiveCouncil,theapplicantshallbepermittedtosubmitagrantapplicationinconjunctionwiththedetaileddescriptionofhisorherjointresearch.4.Uponconfirmationofthegrantapplication,thefinalamountofthegrantshallbedecidedbytheJapaneseSociety
8、ofPlantPhysiologists’sdirectorssuchthattheselectedjointresearchmightbeundertakenasquicklyaspossible.5.Selectedresearchersmustimplementandcompletetheirjointrese
