2、ncermortalityhasincreased,andmuchofthisisduetolungcancer惡性腫瘤，不論是在中國或美國都高居死亡原因前三名，事實上，根據世界衛生組織(WHO)的統計，癌症的死亡率在已開發國家中正逐步上升，而肺癌又是癌症死亡率增加最快的，又由於抽煙是引起肺癌最主要的原因，故也是最容易防治的癌症，只是看人們願不願意去做而已自1982年起，癌症即高居國人十大死因之首位，依據2003年衛生署統計資料，國人癌症死亡率高達每十萬人口156.01，佔當年死亡總人口數的27.10%。肺癌與肝癌是國人癌病兩大殺肺癌在過去數年逐年竄升，屢屢高居癌症死亡排
3、行榜的首位每5個癌症死亡人口便有一個死於肺癌。2003年我國死於肺癌者已超過七千人，是女性癌症死亡原因的第一位，男性的第二位根據統計，死於肺癌的患者中，4%的男性與22%的女性是因被迫吸入二手煙所造成，而抽煙者的妻子死於肺癌的機率是非抽煙者妻子的二倍。其它的危險因子已證明可致肺癌者，包括：(1)放射性氡氣(Radon)，這在採礦工人身上常見。(2)石棉；早年中國及台灣的農村及工廠，均以石棉板來阻熱遮陽，現在研究發現，工作人員吸入石棉造成肺癌的機率，比一般人大3-4倍。(3)其他重金屬(如：鎘、砷)及空氣污染。(4)曾有肺結核感染者。RiskFactorsA.Tobacco
