3、ndbyhumanrights.Tome,humanrightsaretherightsthateveryoneofusashumanbeingisendowedwithfromthedaywewerebornintothisworldofours.Theserightscannotbetakenaway,norcantheybedeniedbasedoncolour,religion,ageorotherpersonalfactors.Centraltotheconceptofhumanrightsistheprotectionofhumandignity

7、30Nationagreements,conventionsandcovenantscommencingwiththeUniversalDeclarationofHumanRights1948(UDHR)andtheEuropeanConventionofHumanRights(ECHR).Amongstothers-InternationalCovenantonEconomic,SocialandCu
8、lturalRight1966andInternationalCovenantonCivilandPoliticalRights1966.Attheregionallevel-theEuropeanConventionofHumanRights1950,theAmericanConventionsonHumanRights1969,theAfricanCharteronHumanandPeople’sRights1981andtheArabConventiononHumanRights1994.TheUDHRandtheECHRweretheglobalre
9、sponsetotheoppressionandtyrannyexperiencedduringtheSecondWorldWarwhereeveryconceivablerightsofpersonorindividualwasviolated.[2]Theseagreements,covenantsandconventionsgiverecognitiontoalistofindividualrightsaswellasthegeneralsocialandeconomicrights.Theyhavelargelybeenincorporatedint
