4、edgenesinrice.ChinJRiceSci,2015,29(3):319G326.Abstract:Toinvestigatetheeffectofvirusinfectiononabscisicacid(ABA)contentinrice,tworicevarieties,NipponbareandHuaidao5,wereinoculatedwithriceblackstreakeddwarfvirus(RBSDV)artificiallyviasmallbrownplanthoppers,andtheA
5、BAcontentwasmeasuredbyELISAmethodwhentheplantsshowedtheobviousviraldiseasesymptoms.TheresultsshowedthattheABAcontentwasincreasedinvirusinfectedrice.TheABAcontentinvirusinfectedNipponbarewas111.04ng/gcomparedto60.86ng/ginthecontrol.InHuaidao5,itwas102.60ng/ginthe
6、virusinfectedplantsand70.61ng/ginthecontrol.TorevealhowthevirusregulatestheABAcontent,therelativeexpressionlevelsofgenesinvolvedinABAbiosynthesis(OsZEP,OsNCED1,OsNCED2,OsNCED3,OsNCED4andOsNCED5)andcatabolism(OsABA8ox1,OsABA8ox2andOsABA8ox3)wereanalyzedinNipponba
7、reat8d,12d,16dand60daftervirusinfection.TheqRTGPCRresultsshowedthattheexpressionlevelsofthegenesinvolvedinABAbiosynthesisandcatabolismintheplantsthanat8daysaftervirusinfectionwerehigherthanthoseinthecontrol.TheexpressionlevelsofOsNCED4andOsNCED5increasedcontinuo
