4、blevideogames,TVset-topboxes--thelistgoeson.Demandforembeddedsystemislarge,andisgrowingrapidly.Inordertodelivercorrect-the-first-timeproductswithcomplexsystemrequirementsandtime-to-marketpressure,designverificationisvitalintheembeddedsystemdesignprocess.Apossiblechoic
5、eforverificationistosimulatethesystembeingdesigned.Ifahigh-levelmodelforthesystemisused,simulationisfastbutmaynotbeaccurateenough,withalow-levelmodeltoomuchtimemayberequiredtoachievethedesiredlevelofconfidenceinthequalityoftheevaluation.Sincedebuggingofrealsystemshast
6、otakeintoaccountthebehaviorofthetargetsystemaswellasitsenvironment,runtimeinformationisextremelyimportant.Therefore,staticanalysiswithsimulationmethodsistooslowandnotsufficient.Andsimulationcannotrevealdeepissuesinrealphysicalsystem.19Ahardwareprototypeisafaithfulrepr
