2、ctionMicrocontrollersthatutilizetheClosedCaptionfunctionhavebeendeveloped.TheClosedCaptiondecodingfunctionmustbeprovidedforallTVsetssoldintheU.S.fronJuly1993.Thesebasicsystemdevelopmentguidelineswereasfollows:(1)Thesystemmustprovidestabilizedreception.(2)T
3、hesystemshouldofferlow-costoperation.Thekeywordforthisdevelopmentwasfull-function.InregulationsestablishedonApril12,1991,theFCCspecifiedthetextmodeasbeingoptional,thusreflectingthatcommitteeonlow-costsystems.WithourgoalofsupplyingClosedCaptionhardwareasane
4、winformationmedium,wedecidedtodevelopasystemsatisfyingthespecificationsforalloptions.Lastyearweintroducedtheadd-ontypeofClosedCaptionDecoderLSIkitdesignedforeasyinstallationintoexistingTVsets.TheClosedCaptiondecodingfunctionisimplementedefficientlybymicroc

7、arity,lowoffsetvoltageof50µVmax,andoffsetdriftof0.6µV/°Cmax,isidealforuseinprecisiondataacquisitionsystems’transducerinterfaces.Furthermore,thelownoise,lowinputbiascurrent,andlowpowerofThisnewmicrocontrollermakeitwellsuitedformedicalapplications,suchasECGa
