4、mplesequencesrepeat(ISSR)markers.Forphenotypictraits,pair-wiseEuclideandistancesrangedfromAccepted24August20120.90to9.80.Principalcomponentanalysisrevealedthatthefirstfivecomponentsexplained74.14%ofthetotalKeywords:morphologicalvariation,wherefruittraitscontributedmostoft
5、hetotalvariation.Nei’sgeneticdis-tancebasedonISSRdatarangedfrom0.00to0.83,suggestingthatthecollectedaccessionsaregeneticallyGeneticdiversitydiverse.diversityUPGMAclusteringbasedonphenotypictraitscomparedwiththatbasedonISSRdatawerenotPhenotypicconsistent,however,somecomm
6、ongroupingswereobservedinISSRandphenotypictraits.Inmostcases,ISSRaccessionsFigcollectedfromthesamelandraceorfromfigwildformstendedtoclustertogether,confirmingthatnamesgivenbyfarmerstothecollectedlandraceaccessionsareconsistentandconfirmingalsothecommongeneticbackgroundofwi
7、ldfigaccessions.HighphenotypicandISSRvariabilityindicatethatfigcollectionsusedinthisstudyincluderichandvaluablegenesforfigbreeding.ISSRscreeningrevealedthepresenceofthesameISSRallelicprofileforaccessionsfromthesamelandraceorwildformaccessions,indicatingthatISSRcanprovidethe
