3、ionforOralEnglishareinstant.Adeeperunderstandingoftheeffectsofcommunicativeneedsonnon-nativespeakerdiscourseshouldmakeusmoreunderstandingofourstudents’difficultiesinpracticingtheiroralEnglish.ItisgenerallyacceptedthatoralEnglishplaysanimportantpartintheEnglishcourse,andeven

4、intheadvancededucation.Inthepast,EnglishteachinglaidgreatemphasisonthegrammaticalstructuresinsteadofOralEnglishteaching.ThisleadstosomeseriousproblemsthatmostEnglishlearnersinChinahavestudiedEnglishformorethantenyears,yettheycannotcommunicatewithnativeEnglishspeakersnatural

5、ly.Theyprobablylackthelanguageenvironment,andmostofthemhavenoopportunitiestopracticetheirEnglishorallyinclass.Furthermore,teachers,someofwhomcannothaveverygoodoralEnglishinsomebackwardandremoteareasofChina,arenotqualified.Thesecertainlyleavestudentsthedirectimpactonthemotiv
