2、usadolescents.DataresourceisSurveysforMentalHealthStatusandAddictedBehaviorsofIndigenousAdolescents.Atotalof153indigenousadolescentsfromjuniorhighschoolswererecruitedinthisthree-wavepanelsurvey,withinitialdatacollectionin2000.Datawereamassedviaface-to-faceint
3、erviewsbyusingastructuredquestionnairedealingwithdemographicdataoftherespondents,healthbehaviors,lifesatisfaction,depressivesymptoms,familylife,etc.Majorresultswereasfollows:lifesatisfactionandacademicperformancearethemostimportantfactorsintheirlifedisturbanc
4、es,followedbyfinancialproblems,andshowedanascendingtendencyeachyear.Therewasnoobviousdifferencebetweenthesethreeyearsindepressivesymptoms:e.g.,musclesoreness,headaches,faintness,dizziness,orinsomnia.Therespondents’scoresofdepressivesymptomsscalewerealsonosign
5、ificantdifferencebetweenthesethreeyears.Butwhenconsideringgender,wefounddepressionscalescoresoffemaleshigherforthefollowingthreeyears,anddisplayedamarkeddifferenceinthethirdyear.Exploringfurtherthedepressionscalescorecorrelations,wefoundthatlivingwithparents,
6、perceivedhealthstatus,deviantbehavior,commutingtoschoolconvinently,healthproblems,financialproblems,academicperformance,andproblemsinassimilationofethnicgroupsallshowedsignificantdifferentialoutcomeindepressionscalescoresduringthesethreeyears.Whileacademicper
7、formancewasoneofthecorrelatesofdepressivesymptoms,wefoundnodifferenceafterdividingallrespondentsintotwogroups:thetoptwentyandothers.Wealsofoundbycorrelationanalysissomecorrelationbetweenseverenurturancestyleanddepressivesymptomsofindigenousadolescents.Thedepr
