3、fferent.Americancultureisuniquebecauseitisnurtured,formedanddevelopedundercertainconditions,whicharecharacteristicallyAmerican.Themajorfactorscontributingtothemakingofthisnewnationandtheformingofanewculturearethehardenvironment,ethnicdiversityandpluralreligion,
4、whichisquitedifferentfromothernationsintheworld.Whatismore,theseelementsarestillinfluencingtheAmericanculture.However,thecultureofEnglandreferstotheidiosyncraticculturalnormsofEnglandandtheEnglishpeople.BecauseofEngland’sdominantpositionwithintheUnitedKingdomin
5、termsofpopulation,EnglishcultureisoftendifficulttodifferentiatefromthecultureoftheUnitedKingdomasawhole.Itisculturethatmakesthemholddifferentattitudestowardsspace.What’smore,inregardtotheneedforascreenfortheego,thisplacestheAmericanssomewherebetweentheGermansan
