4、atingemitters.Astheradiatorishotterthantheairsurroundingit,acertainamountofheatistransferredtotheairandthusthewaterexistsatalowertemperature.Ofthevariousdesignsavailableusuallyequippedwithconvectionfinstoimprovetheirheatoutput,arecommonindomestic,businessandindustrialenvironments.Theuseofcen
5、tral-heatingradiatorsisthemainformofdomesticheatinginthehomes.Althoughradiatorsareknownasradiator,mostoftheiroutputisbynaturalconvection.Sincetheaveragesurfacetemperatureofacentral-heatingradiatorisgenerallylessthan80 °C,thecontributionofradiativetransfertothetotalheattransferissmallerthanth
6、atofthenaturalconvectionheattransfer.Becauseofthelowsurfacetemperatures,radiationheattransfertermintheenergybalanceequationscanbelinearizedinthethermalanalysisofsucharadiator.Inthepresentpaper,assumingthatthepredominantmodesofheattransferareconductionandconvection,andtheeffectoftheradiationi
7、signored,anapproximatemathematicalmodelisconstructedforfindingtemperaturedistributionandheattransferrate.Thedesignandoptimizationoftheseradiatorsorfinsandfinassembliesaregenerallybasedontwoapproachesand:oneistominimizethevolumeormassforagivenamount
