1、英语专业毕业生就业问题研究摘要：通过对英语专业毕业生就业情况和目前我国现有课程的制约条件的了解与分析，阐明了我国的课程设置需要进一步的改善。调查显示，传统英语专业人才培养计划所培养的学生，由于只具备单一的英语技能，已经不能满足用人单位的需要。由于经济全球化的影响，自我国加入WTO以来，中外合资、外商独资等外向型经济企业不断涌现，对具有较强的外语交际能力，掌握一般商务外贸运作指示、熟悉计算机等现代化办公设备的商务英语人才需求尤为迫切。因此，对于英语专业的课程设置应进行进一步的改善，着重培养具有较全面的商务基础知识和实际运用英语语言能力的精英语、

4、mportantofwhichisthattoofewpeopleunderstandthebusinessEnglish.IngeneralthecompaniesengagedinforeigntradebusinessshouldhaveseveralorevenhundredsofpeopletounderstandthebusinessEnglishofforeigntrade.ThisshowsthatthereisalargegapintheneedofprofessionalsonbusinessEnglish.Atprese

5、nt,thereareabout1,500peopleengagedintheimportandexportoftheforeigntradeinmanyforeigntradeenterprisesasfull-timestaff.Theforeigntradebusinessenterpriseswhichhaveanumberoflargevolumesmaybeequippedwithimportandexportcompanies,buttheyarelackoftherealpersonsofability.Itisextreme

6、lydisproportionatebetweenthatandtheboomingoftheeconomyoftheforeigntrade.Alackofqualifiedprofessionalswillseriouslyaffecttherapidandsustainabledevelopmentoftheforeigntrade.Englishmajorsstillhaveagoldenfutureinthedevelopmentofthesociety.Therefore,itisimperativetothecoursesett
