3、atedbybothmanagerandemployeeinterviewees.However,Chinesemanagersalsoneedtoreformsomepracticesastheymoveintotheinternationalmarketplace.Aswesternmanagers,atthesametime,increasinglyseektoincreasetheirsocialcapitalitisclearthatChineseandwesternmanagerscanlearnfromeachother.Researchlimitations/implicati

4、ons–Theexamplesdrawnuponinthispapercomefromastate-ownedcorporation.Indicationsarethatsmaller,privatelyownedcompaniesinChinaaremoreaggressivelyadoptingmarketmodelsbuiltuponcompetitiveindividualism.Furtherresearchisneededtodevelopcomparisons.Practicalimplications–Thepapersuggestsahybridmodelofbusiness
