4、ctsthestudyofculturetolanguagelearningandconsidersthemasintegratedandholistic(commonwealthofaustralia,2004).itenablesstudentstolearntheknowledgeofthetargetlanguage,andreflectontheknowledgeoftheirowncultures.inrelationtointerculturallanguageteaching,itaimstohelpstudentsdevelopthei

5、rmulticulturalviewoftheworldanddeveloptheirinterculturalcompetencethroughthelearningofaforeignlanguage.thisessaywillfirstintroduceandcomparedifferentscholars’definitionsoflanguage,cultureandinterculturalrespectively,thendiscussinterculturallanguageeducationinaustralianandchinesec
