2、)[Abstract]ObjectiveToinvestigatemultisliceCT(MSCT)findingsofintratemporalfacialnervecanalwithmultiplanarreconstruction(MPR)andcurved-planarreconstruction(CPR)MethodsMSCTwasperformedin70patientswithparana-salsinusitiswithoutabnormalityintemporalboneincluding50adultsand20childrenOriginalima
3、gesweretransferredtoworkstationforimageprocessingAccordingtothecourseofintratemporalfacialnervecanal,MPRandCPRimageswereacquiredFacialnervecanalandrelationwithadjacentstructuresweremeasuredindifferentMPRandCPRimagesTheap-pearancesoffacialnervecanalindifferentimagesandagegroupswerecomparedRe
4、sultsThelengthoftympanicsegmentonCPRimagewaslongerthanthatonMPRimage,anditswidthonMPRimagewaswiderthanthatonCPRimage(P<005)However,therewasnosignificantdifferenceinthelengthandwidthoflabyrinthineandmastoidsegmentbetweenMPRandCPRimages(P>005)TheCPRimagesacquiredinthecoronalplaneshowedthefir
5、stgenuexactly,whiletheCPRimagesacquiredintheaxialplaneshowedthesecondgenuexactlyThedehiscentincidenceofthefirstgenuwas214%onbothMPRandCPRimages,and329%,314%ofthetympanicsegmentonMPRandCPRimages,respectively(P>005)OneearwiththebifurcateofthetympanicsegmentwasshownonMPRimage,butmissedonCPRi
