3、ofcholesterol(Ch)inquaternarymixturesofbilesalt(BS),lecithin(L),inorganicsalt(Ca2+),andwater,whichcanbeusedasmodelbileswasmeasuredat310.2Kinthiswork.Theaccurateconcentrationsofbilesalt,lecithin,andcholesterolweredeterminedbyhighperformanceliquidchroma

4、tography(HPLC).Theeffectofbilesalt/lecithinmolarratio,bilesaltconcentration,totallipidconcentration,andCa2+concentrationonthesolubilityofcholesterolwereinvestigatedindetail.Theresultsshowthatthecholesterolsolubilitymonotonicallyincreaseswiththeincrease

5、oftheconcentrationofbilesaltortotallipid.Thecholesterolsolubilityfirstincreaseswiththebilesalt/lecithinmolarratiowhenthebilesalt/lecithinmolarratioislowerthan1andthendecreaseswhenthebilesalt/lecithinmolarratiofurtherincreases.Inaddition,theexistenceofC
