3、identifiedneedsofownersandoccupants.However,manyoftheproblemsarenotrelatedtothetechnology-thisprovidesthesolutions–rathertheyarerelatedtotheneedsofownersandoccupants.ArecentreportontheJapaneseconstructionindustryidentifiedthreeattributesthatintelligentbuildingshouldpossess.Buildingsshoul

4、d‘know’whatishappeninginsideandimmediatelyoutside.Buildingsshould‘decide’themosteffectivewayofprovidingaconvenient,comfortableandproductiveenvironmentfortheoccupants.Buildingsshould‘respond’quicklytooccupants’requests.Theseattributesmaybetranslatedintoaneedforvarioustechnologyandmanageme

5、ntsystems.Thesuccessfulintegrationofthesesystemswillproducetheintelligentbuilding,containing:Buildingautomation(BA)systems:toenablethebuildingtorespondtoexternalfactorsandconditions(notjustclimatic,butalsofireandsecurityprotection);simultaneoussensing,controlandmonitoringoftheinternalenv
